I really enjoyed this one. A group of friends meet up in a luxury hotel that Lissa’s second husband owns though the meet up isn’t for a nice reason, Lissa is missing, presumably drowned off Kanu Cove, even though she is a really good swimmer the currents in the area are really dangerous so what was she doing there when she would have known how dangerous it was? Apart from the current there is a supposed sea serpent that lives in the water though if this is a fact or not,who knows.
The story is told from the point of view of two of the friends, Bronwyn and Georgie, they have known each other since university, now Bronwyn is a mum with two children.
Strange messages and post start appearing but should they tell, would they look like they had something to do with Lissa going missing?
Then they realise they are almost the only guests on the island, the business is going downhill fast but what and who is behind it all?
This is quite a slow pace book, don’t go expecting fireworks and sudden twists but it is a very good read and I would recommend it
