Hmmmm I'm not sure about this one.
Whilst the blurb and cover seemed to suggest it has all the hallmarks of a good thriller mystery type novel I didn't find myself particularly drawn in by the opening pages.
Whilst I highly commend the subject matter and the research. The care is already being shown dealing with sensitive issues around domestic abuse in a novel, and how it draws attention to these issues as a fairly seamless part of the story, instead of being too full-on and breaking the reader's immersion.
Just not enough happens until the final pages and so whilst interesting I'm unsure if it will be a good and thought-provoking story or a slow disappointment
