The First Impression starts off really well and I did get drawn in to Ria's world. The problem I have is that, having read the author's first novel, I am concerned this will dissolve in to a series of completely unrealistic scenarios that are intended to depict a strong woman defending herself whilst sliding in to panic. Unfortunately from the way the First Impression ends I have that sinking sensation that this is the way this novel is headed.
