How To Play Dead is a book I'd been putting off reading for a while but I don't know what took me so long to start reading it as I really enjoyed this psychological thriller and it was a gripping read that left me not wanting to put the book down. The story follows Ria who receives a message in which someone is watching her and she no longer feels safe as she's unsure what to do or whether she should stay or run. I liked Ria and the characters in this book as they are likeable and make you feel for them and what they are going through and the addition of the paranoia in the book because of the stalker gave the book an added feeling of eerie ness to the read. This made for a really gripping read but one that also tackles the more difficult topic of abuse as well. I think this is a very well done book and it makes me interested to read more of the authors books in the future.
