This book is super spooky and unnerving. A mum and her family home alone as her partner was away on business and a stalker who is watching their moves an ideal read for these modern times . The main character Ria is likeable and real and the story unfolds into past historic family and friends details and the reasons why Ria now has a job helping domestic abuse families .Ria is a strong independent woman who is fiercely protective of her children to which every mother can relate .This is the first book I have read by Jacqueline Ward and I loved her strong characters and I need to do some research into other books by this author to see if her characters and style of writing continues in other novels
