Hudson's Kill starts quickly, setting the scene and introducing you to two main characters, Kerry & Justy while launching into a murder investigation set in New York, 1803. I've not read anything from this genre set in the past in America so I was really curious to see how it would be written. I think the language will get some getting used to but I am definitely wanting to find out what happens next after reading the first three chapters.
