From the start it was so easy to immerse myself into this story; New York was certainly a city of strife and danger at this time and the shocking discovery of a brutally murdered girl adds to this boiling pot of tension and violence. The two lead characters seem to have a mixed past and I am intrigued to find out what! Overall, great writing and a book I'd really love to read.
