So I've never read a paddy Hirsch book before so I was looking forward to reading it and I wasn't disappointed. It was set in 1803 so it took you to an interesting time in history. The book seems to have been greatly researched. The characters are strong and worked well together. The plot was strong and good, it brought New York 1803 to life and made you believe you are actually there .The book was very descriptive and easy to follow.,but it held my attention. I've since discovered that paddy Hirsch has written another book (The first in the series )so I'm going to borrow a copy from my local library and am hoping that it will be as good as this book.
