The plot was very hard to follow from start to finish, I couldn’t follow the characters, I kept reading hoping it would get better. I was very disappointed and the style of writing I didn’t like. Using old fashioned words then having to explain what the words meant. The title was good however the book didn’t follow suit. This is the first book I have read by this author. I wanted a book that I didn’t want to put down that would have me gripped and I wouldn’t want to put down. This book wasn’t that kind of book, hopefully other books by the author would be better. I wanted to finish the book to see what happened to the characters and it didn’t really tell what happened to the characters that survived
