Upon seeing the cover of the book I thought the book would be something I wouldn’t enjoy and that it would be too heavy for me.

The blurb of the book didn’t entice me much more to read the novel.

As I began the first look my interest began to peak as the situation between the different groups in society was quickly explained and how the main character Kerry was linked to this.

The use of descriptive language is used amazingly way to explain the detail of the woman’s injuries in a horrific gory way.

We then also go on to see there is a bit of a flirtatious relationship between Kerry and Justy but they are very cryptic about what has actually happened between them.

I enjoyed the first look of this book more than I initially thought I would but having said that I’m not entirely should this is a book that I would go out and buy for myself if I had the choice.
