Prior to seeing this book I had no idea of food critic Grace Dent’s background and now, knowing this, it makes her achievements even more impressive. Reading the first impression was like turning back time to the 1980s and an opportunity to reminisce and remember some of the finer highlights of British cuisine! Wonderfully readable and warmly witty I am really keen to read this book and hear about Grace’s journey and the place of food at the heart of her family home.
