I am a long-time fan of Grace Dent’s restaurant reviews and articles in The Guardian and I was delighted to receive a first look of her book. I persevered even though it was very difficult to read with an ‘embargoed’ banner on every page ( even though I received the extract after the embargoed date). She writes very well and I thoroughly enjoyed her reminiscing, recognising many of the food she talks about, even though I am somewhat older. I would very much like to read the rest of the book as I am sure that she will continue to entertain and be thought provoking.
