My first thought of this book was, I'm not going to enjoy this, it's not my kind of thing... However, I can admit that I enjoyed the start of this book. Memoirs have many necessary conventions for them to be a good read and I believe the start of this novel does not disappoint! I'm intrigued to learn what happens next.
