Food and family and social history in a warm, beautifully written account of a late 20th century childhood- I enhaled this first peek like I would have done a bowl of Angel Delight in my youth. The poignant details of Grace's relationship with her dad, as a child and as an adult facing his dementia made this so bittersweet, food and emotion entwined throughout. Loved it!
