Oh, I loved this book!
From reading the first impression I was hooked and I waited (very impatiently!) for the book to arrive in the post. It finally arrived and I read it in less than a day, waking up at 5.30 Sunday morning to continue!
We are introduced to Grace and her dad making sketty (spaghetti) and follow her through her life with food, her mum’s home improvements and the discovery of the secrets in her dads life.
It brought back so many food memories for me, including beef dripping on white bread, Findus Crispy Pancakes, Golden Churn and Terry’s Neopolitan.
I absolutely loved everything about this book and really didn’t want to finish it.
I also thought that it was a lovely idea to include the more recent events within her family life and sincerely hope that all is still well.
Well written and engaging, definitely one to read - five stars +
