Wow...I knew I would enjoy this book but I seriously underestimated how much, and the impact it would have on me. I have laughed and cried my way through this book and don't feel ready to leave the Dent family yet. Although I didn't know much about Grace Dent before reading this, the way her book is written really has left me feeling like one of the family, going through everything with them. Her journey to success is so inspiring too!
I love the irreverent way her story is told and parts of it are just so relatable you can't help but smile and nod along. In a year that has been so lonely it's been a real comfort to feel less alone while reading this, and know that so many families up and down the country are not so dissimilar from mine. Grace has bravely written from the heart about her experiences from a young age to date and I really admire her introspection. A fantastic read!
