Like many other readers, I wasn’t sure if I would like this book as it is very different to anything I have read before. I have to say that I loved it and would definitely recommend to any reader, even if you don’t usually read anything like it. Why not start now?

This memoir goes through the memories of Dents childhood, without leaving anything out. This allows the reader to fully understand her life, the good and the bad.
To my surprisement, it did make me quite emotional at times. I think the reason for this was how well it was written. From the tone reached in the writing, to the personal response, you felt you were there in the moment. Furthermore, it’s felt like a very sincere and honest memoir. At this moment, many of you may Ben tired of hearing the same things repeatedly about this book, but it’s the truth. It was so lovely to read and clearly took a lot of time to write in such a beautiful way.
Overall, I’d say the best thing about the book issue that it brings up so many memories that every reader can relate to.
