Nostalgia
I love the cover of this, it’s really eye catching!! And would be very eye catching on a shelf
As a 80’s baby, I loved reading this and the memories it brought back, those being of the true meaning of family and togetherness. I loved the stories of Grace and her dad cooking together, this mad me think of my own childhood and cooking with my mum.
I really enjoyed reading about the brownies, not that I did aswell as Grace!
The most enjoyable part of this book however, was the mentions of the food from my childhood, some that I had forgotten about.
It made me feel a certain sense nostalgia towards my childhood and the good old days.
I’m also a fan of Grace on masterchef, so was interested to read about her career and how it developed and the new settings she found herself in.
A must read for anyone wether a fan, or just wanting to relive the days gone by,
