I knew aboslutely nothing about this lady, I didn't even clock her being on tv but it was recommended to me so gave it a go.

Far from being well versed in food which is the field she ended up in she came from such a humble background where food was considered more of a fuel than a luxury.
This made Grace always remember those days, she even remembers family connections with food, her father who suffered with Alzheimers their bond was a bar of Cadburys fruit and nut.
This was at times very sad, touching and very emotional.
Food is used as a comfort and a touchstone for Grace, it shaped her, her life and eventual career.
From knowing virtually nothing of her background even so I throughly enjoyed this as a read anyway, a really inspiring lady.
