What an incredible read!
I started this book and was a little weary about the potential of it becoming overbearing with talk about expensive restaurants and a life I will probably never live however within the first few chapters I realised I couldn't be more wrong!
This book is witty and charming but also completely heart breaking. Following the story of Grace and her father made me reflect about my family and my upbringing. It made me realise how important the people around you are and made me think about how much I can take for granted.
Throughout this book Grace is able to perfectly balance the reality of life with the ups and downs.
I absolutely adored reading this and would highly recommend to others. The writing jumps cleverly between eras however does so to enhance the story rather than to confuse the reader.
I was a fan of Grave Dent before reading this book and it did not disappoint!
