Having read the authors note at the begin of the book I was expecting something quite different to the first two chapters.
Although I have no first hand knowledge of training to be a ballet dancer I have heard that it can be very demanding and I can imagine that only the most dedicated make it to join a ballet company.
The first 2 chapters provide an insight to the feelings of a dedicated and ambitious ballet student but I can’t imagine how the novel will develop considering the authors note.
Could be a good read to find out.
