Though the book did pick up at the end it felt sluggish and wasn't something I would normally read.
I know that this is ballet and it is meant to be cutthroat but at some point it becomes tiresome and with everyone being horrible all the time it just did not have the same impact and got sluggish.
This was disappointing as I really enjoyed the first look and blurb and thought the cover was really well designed however it turned out to be not my cup of tea.
Although as I said at the beginning the end was did pick up and with a bloody and brutal ending it helped and consolidated the rest of the book and set up the next book really well.
Overall it was a decent horror book and if anything I would just like to get more background on the main character. The best thing about this book however was the cover, art and details within the pages as they really set the tone for the book.
