I Feed her to the beast is the perfect book to show the dark side of ballet.

Although I didn't particularly like Laure, the writing was so well done that I really felt like I could connect with her and understand her. Ballet is such a competitive and outdated profession, having to "look the part" is taken to an extreme, and I really felt for Laure.
The story is poetic in a sense. Laure showed a dark side when she bargained with Acheron, and that's when I started to dislike her and the way she fed Acheron and lost herself. But also, I completely understand that she felt invisible in the ballet despite her incredible talent.

Overall, as an ex ballerina, and current thriller lover, this was the perfect book for me. Such an original and impactful idea for a thriller story.

There is a lot of reference to the ballet and technical ballet language, which is to be expected.
