Something about this is so honest and raw, the characters have real depth. Laure has everything to lose and you can really tell that about her. The contrast shown between the girls makes this a thrilling and encompassing read.
When reading not only was I the reader it felt too as I was sitting watching the performances and the emotions of each girl.

It’s an easy read but still gripping and I found myself in suspense as laure danced or tried to fit in with the other girls. There are also a lot of difficult themes dealt with in this book that the author deals with really well. The darker underlying themes are paired really well with the soft nature of the dances.
