I was so excited to get the chance to read this book as it's my favourite genre and the cover is simply stunning .
However it was focused a bit too much on ballet and not enough on the magic , mystery and the powers the main character received. If you are into ballet you'll definitely love it . I enjoyed the side of it that truly shows how hard the life of a ballerina can be and all the struggle you have to go through to succeed. But there wasn't enough about the dark world ( Elysium) underneath Paris, the blood river Acheron, Lethe etc .
I liked her relationship with Coralie and the clash at the end it just felt a bit rushed . Also I wanted a bit more about the other characters involved - Andor and Keturah. The way the book ended definitely shows that there will be a second book . I only hope there will be more about the mystery about Elysium and more thorough explanation about Acheron and Lethe .
