This book to me was very middle ground, hence the 3 stars. I thought the idea was really cool, even though I have no interest in ballet, it was nice to have a book I wouldn't normally pick up.
I felt this was a book I wasn't hooked in and found I could easily put it down and distract myself with other things, however maybe this is my fault for not understanding the world of ballet, so I was lost for a lot of it.
I can appreciate the story line and what the author was trying to do, and I am glad I read the book, it passed the time and wasn't exactly boring at any point.
I found the writing style to be enjoyable however and the book cover is absolutely gorgeous.
Overall it was an enjoyable read even though not a favourite of mine, I think this would probably be a higher rated book for someone who has an interest in ballet, and I would recommend it to people who have.
