Such a banging villain origin story

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was thrilling yet really fun. Watching the Laure’s just get more and more deplorable was really fascinating because by the end I was still rooting for her. I loved how insanely competitive she is and how her charecter is very morally grey. The concept was definitely very original, I definitely would not have associated the words ballet and blood river together before reading this book. The little found family trope between her and the other members of the Acheron. The book did get a bit boring during the middle but I’m very glad I kept reading because the ending was definitely worth it. The book being young adult, the writing style was quite easy to read overall which i liked. I also really enjoyed the romance in the book even though it was only a small sub-plot. I will definitely pick up the sequel when it comes out.
