I Feed Her to the Beast and the Beast is Me" by Jamison Shea is a compelling and intriguing novel with twist and turns at every corner. Set in the catacombs beneath Paris, Laure Mesny finds herself drawn to the primordial entity Acheron, who just wants to help her reach her potential... with a small sacrifice. Bare in mind it is not for the faint of heart, with intricate description of gore and blood.

I think the characters were especially brilliant, in particular the main character of Laure. She is a prima ballerina determined to climb the ladder of success, no matter how she gets there...
She went through many struggles in her relationships, first and foremost with her best friend/only friend Coralie. I won't lie, I did not like Coralie but I believe she really added to the story.
I would highly recommend this for fans of Ninth House or Black Swan.
