A very emotional and moving excerpt

This book is written in a way that each chapter is recounted by a person with different stories. I enjoy this sort of writing and although all four characters we encounter have a sad stories, I like how it seems there is some happiness also in each tale. And a bird that maybe links them across time… I can’t wait to find out more
