I thought I would really enjoy this book from the description and the cute cover (yes I am one of those that judges by a cover, and this was a super cute cover). However I unfortunately did not.
The story is cute and in parts is quite good. It follows two people firstly a young man evan whose mum has cancer and his dad had left. He is trying to be strong for his brother with whom he is very close to.
Secondly shosh who is dealing with the grief of having lost her sister who she was very close to, to a drink driver.
A song is what bring these two characters together after they hear it.
I found it hard to connect with the story, i found it to be very slow paced. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t confused. The character introduction took to long. The ending was also something I was not keen on, it left me with more questions and I felt it was almost rushed and far too open ended.
