The concept of this story is really interesting but a bit complex and I'm afraid that I was not drawn into this at the beginning as I did find it quite hard to follow.
Even the book blurb seemed overly complicated so it was not a read for me despite being interested in the premise of this book. I think that a love story about soul mates is something that is always an enjoyable read but because I found the beginning a bit hard to follow and enjoy it tainted my interest to persevere and finish this book! I didn.t think that it helped with the flow at the beginning as the character voice changed very quickly. What I did really like though was the concept of the bird being a link or key in the story.
I have since seen this book sold in the high-street discount book shops which unfortunately means to me that it was not very successful in reaching its market place.
