I am not a fan of romance books but this book gave me butterflies and flutters. It was just so well executed, and I absolutely loved the concept of soulmates finding each other in each life through a song only they can hear. It's incredibly sweet. I love how the book did not just revolve around their romance, but they all had their own things to go through, to work through. And even better when they encouraged each other to do what they were afraid of doing, because what is love if not encouragement and support?
Evan and Shosh were written amazingly, and I loved the difference in voices when the chapters were from one of point of view or the other. The way Evan is the one that tells you his story shows he is more present in himself (also I 100% relate to the storms. I have started calling them that too) while Shosh is in third person, as if she felt detached from herself, separated.
A wonderful book I will not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
