Reading this book was like gentle fingers plucking at memories hidden within my heart. For we have all loved and lost, or dreamed of enduring love finding its way to us on the wing of pray or tiny bird in this case.
I read somewhere once that to feel pain is to know you are alive but David Arnold has such a tender way of drawing his characters that their pain and sadness is so tangible you feel you could reach out and touch it.
I can't wait to continue reading about the paths that Evan and Shosh's lives take and how they will hopefully merge and lead to a happy ending to their story.
Shosh is in the middle of a whirlpool of misery from losing a sister that she was so close too and dealing with dysfunctional relationships with her parents.
Whilst Evan has found himself as his moms soul support system as something is going on with his young brother.
Will the song they are both hearing draw them to find the answers they both need to reach a happier environment that is shrouded in love from a time gone by?
