What makes a comedian? Does this book answer this question? Maybe, although the introduction points towards the complicated non linear nature of human development that leads to the formation of comedy talent. Roaming through anecdote, both from the authors personal experiences to those of other comedians. Delving into psychology, child development, environmental factors, parental influence and the life changing events which influence us all. I think I would read this book, despite the fact that it appears that a lot of the authors conclusions agree with my own. Some times it’s good to be challenged, but this would make an interesting read.
