I wasn't drawn in by the front cover, but because a friend of mine has just started doing stand up comedy and I went to one of his gigs and realised how hard it is and what a skill and talent you must have to be able to do it.
I like books that can make you laugh and reading the introduction of this book it certainly seems to be written in a light witty manner which made me smile while I was reading it.
I also find it really interesting to look into the psychology of people and find comedians interesting and very complex people.
