This monologue on the nature of humour aeemed to me to get off to a poor start as the invited introduction was full of spite and dislike. I prefer a more good-hearted approach.

The cover is bright and cheerful but this doesn't seem to be a reflection of Robin Ince's tone and I fear I would find the whole book a little hard-going.
