It gave the reasoning behind the big and not so big characters that have taken to the stage. At times this reasoning was understandable but sometimes sad to think that these big household names had evolved from troubled pasts . Not quite the hilarious book I had expected and quite an eye opener . It gave me new insight in what it takes to become a comedian and not the laugh a minute book I am afraid I was expecting to receive in the post .
