After reading this book, on my own without any children present, I realise how much children`s books have changed over the years. I can imagine an adult with a group of little children having really great fun while using this book. Just picture their little faces as they interact with OH, who is the main character in the story.
I admit that I had to read through the book twice to understand what the author expected, but then sitting on your own reading a book is much different to reading out loud to children. This is the sort of fun book that children will enjoy and it will keep their attention from start to finish. Using very large letters on bright coloured pages will help young children to identify words and letters. They also get to understand that some words sound the same, but have completely different meanings. I think that the only problem parents, teachers and carers will have with this book, is that the children will keep worrying to do it all again .
