The book was something that made the little one laugh endlessly, and I was giggling along too. The illustrations are really good at keeping a child interested, and the repetition of 'no' meant that they could join in after a couple of reads.
I liked that there was enough to read on each page that the book lasts a while, and there is so much to talk about after, but the text on each page was short enough that it didn't get boring. It felt quite an interactive, engaging book compared to other children books that are more passive and difficult to keep young children interested in. There was a variety of interesting vocabulary too, which often is overlooked in children's books, which I appreciated.
Not only do i think this would be a great read for any one-on-one reading, but also would work in a nursery/early years setting, as it is a great way to get kids excited about reading! I would happily read this book with any young children, as it was such a hit!
