I read this with my 8 year old nephew, he really enjoyed reading it for himself and found it fun and entertaining. He said he enjoyed the pictures a lot and spent a lot of time looking at them in detail. As he is of an age now where he doesn't read that many books more than once we have since passed the book on to a friend with toddlers who read the same books many many times and she has said they both enjoy sitting and listening to the adventures and looking at the illustrations. it seems to have been well adopted into their reading routine.
This is definitely a book i would reccomend for younger readers, either to read alone if they are able or to sit and listen to and interact with the pictures. i'd happily purchase more books like this and definitely would be happy to read this book over and over. the cover is a lovely eye catching colour and the book is good quality.
