The upside I think is that this is a cute and funny little story about a bear called 'Oh'. Initially it was not only funny, it was also great for engaging and maintaining attention of our little grandson. The story was met with lots of laughter, not only from him but the supposed grown ups too (I think, maybe laughing more than the little one!!). The story does require the reader to be quite animated to really bring the story to life and give it the full interactive experience it needs. It's bright and colourful pages engaged the little one. I would say it's better for the older pre-school child.
The downside - After being read multiple times the story seemed to slightly lose it's appeal for all. It became increasingly more difficult to give the same enthusiasm when read and my grandson did not seem so excited by it.
I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to purchase this book.
