As a retired teacher, I would have loved to have shared this lovely book with my class of young children. I can imagine their faces being totally delighted by the illustrations, and their excited voices joining in with the simple yet effective and amusing responses. On the front cover the book is marketed as 'A fantastically funny, and interactive, read-aloud story', and I couldn't agree more. The illustrations are bold and engaging. The font sizes vary to emphasis the excitement behind the words to be shared out loud. I love the warning on the back cover 'Contains a bear with a bare bear butt and lots of dancing' - this should also include 'smiling and giggling'. It is certainly not a nighttime storybook choice! I cant wait to share this with my granddaughter - she will absolutely love it! I can see this book becoming a dog-eared favourite on her bookshelf.
