I read this to my two grandsons today as they are worried they mum is away having their sisters.
I was so pleased that this almost immediately put a smile on their faces and had them doing all the activities and pointing at stuff to find. Probably best not to read it at any point when you are wanting the children to have a quiet read together and definitely not for bedtime.
This is about a bear with a very bare bottom but he really doesn’t care, all he wants to do is dance around and have fun, hopefully my grandsons won’t be wiping off their trousers in the middle of a Tesco shop or at the park after reading it.
I think that the way it is written it is so interacting that children will want it read to them again and again and one they will pull out when friends and cousins visit.
The illustration is very good as well, not an afterthought as some books are but really pulling children in.
I will be telling others with children of this age to definitely buy it.
