My daughter and I read this at bedtime. She thought this was so funny and liked that the book was prompting her to be involved in the story and was tricking her into say no and me.
My daughter is dyslexic and often will avoid reading even if together with someone else but the book was colourful without too many words on one page and she really wanted to read it. So this got a big thumbs up from her! She even keeps repeating some of the sentences to get me to follow the lead as well.
We are going to read it again tomorrow with her sister too as well as read it again tonight.
I'm glad I decided to try out one of the children's books to review as well as this has been a real surprise on how much we have both enjoyed it and giggled along as we read the story along with the pictures and the silly theme. This is a great way to get children engaged in reading and think it would be a real asset to all children's and school book shelves!
