I'm absolutely convinced this book with its wonderfully colourful illustrations and gloriously silly, cheeky humour will appeal to young readers. I'm not a young reader myself but it still had me chuckling away, especially at the idea of the bare butt bear dance. Children do love something a bit naughty, don't they? I thought the interactive nature of the book was brilliant and that it would be very engaging for small children. I can actually see it working well in a group situation with everybody joining in with responses and with the dancing, of course. I don't have children myself but the book will be going to a good home, either to my husband's great grandchildren, to a local school or a doctor's surgery where I'm sure it will keep lots of little ones entertained. It's difficult to write much more about a relatively short picture book.
