This is a story about a bear who has a bare bear butt - a hilarious concept for toddlers, of course. The book calls for the child to interact with the story - when you hear the bear's name (Oh) the child says (NO!) and then later on the child is encouraged to perform actions like getting up and dancing (I presume, actually wiggling a 'bare butt' if they were doing it properly) along with the bear.
My little boy is only two and four months so he doesn't quite get the 'when I say oh you say no' thing so there's definitely room to grow with this one. He does think 'bare bear butt' is hysterical though and he likes the illustrations of the bear (and his bare butt). The first few pages don't have any illustrations at all and he doesn't like those pages and makes me skip ahead but I guess when he better understands the story then those pages will be more relevant to him.
Overall, a great silly book for 2 - 6 year olds (or whenever they stop thinking naked bottoms are funny).
