This is an adventure story set during 1939 (second World War) and the main character is twelve-year-old Robyn who lives at Bletchley Park, where her father works as a driver. When the war begins everything at Bletchley changes.
The author is very descriptive and I liked the attention to detail and use of words to create vivid pictures in your mind of the environment and what was happening. I think it is a good story and true to its history.
