I really like this book! Bletchley Park and its code breakers is so well known for its importance in the war effort. This is a great version of the story - as seen through the eyes of a 12 year old girl who lives there with her parents. Robyn loves the country things, birds, insects, and runs a country club to include tree climbing and spotting geese. The war changes her life totally, so many restrictions, no swimming in the lake or rowing across to the island, or collecting conkers and pine cones. She loves tinkering in her father's garage and working on cars. With Bletchley Park expanding and growing in importance, she even has to sign the Official Secrets Act! The plot thickens.
