I really wanted to read this story, and to the children I teach, as we are but a stones throw from Bletchley Park so it was nice to be able to fix this story on a real life place.
This was a nice read following the thrilling adventures of Robyn. Very Blyton esk at times it was a quick paced and pleasant read.
I liked the sense of mystery that this book brought which would be great for children and adults alike.
The cover of the book is stunning and really enticing. Again it reminds me very much of Blyton and her famous five which makes you feel very nostalgic. I really like the scale on the back, 'what's inside - birds, secrets, danger' not three words I would put together and again another enticing feature to draw in the reader.
Overall a really thrilling and easy read due to the short chapters and pace of the story. I cannot wait to share this with others!
