I enjoy reading historical fiction books based around the Second World War and loved the sound of this book, even though it is aimed at younger readers.
Bletchley Park is an important part of our British History and this book is an excellent introduction to young readers to the importance of the work undertaken.
As other reviewers have said, this does remind me of the best bits of the Famous Five series of books. There are young people keen to solve mysteries, adults behaving oddly, and lots of secrets.
Loved how the importance of nature and the changing seasons feature in the book too. A well written historical fiction story full of historical details, with lashings of fun, elements of danger and some humour too.
